Our Pool Inspections Include:
Upon arrival to the site, our certified Pool Inspector will complete a walk-through of the pool area, taking a look at the pool, equipment, fencing, gates, and backyard.
A Walk-Through
Cracks in the pool or tears in the liner can be expensive to repair, and must be taken very seriously. A crack can be caused by the ground around the pool settling, weakened areas of the pool wall, or a lack of retaining walls. Unresolved cracks in the pool structure may lead to water loss that will cost a lot of money, or even worse, it could wash out the soil around the pool furthering the damage of the overall structure. In our inspections, we examine the pool liner and foundation, looking for any etching, cracking, and signs of wear or damage. We also examine the pool tile and coping to determine if any settling or movement has occurred that may cause damage to the pool.
Structural Issues
We will inspect your pool deck for settling, surface de-lamination, cracks, or any safety hazards. Fences and pool gates will also be examined to determine whether they are code-compliant, self-locking and latching, the correct height, the correct swing direction, and any other requirements.
Pool Deck, Fences, and Gates
We inspect the steps, ladders, handrails, main drain covers to ensure they are properly installed and safely in place. If there are any accessories, like a slide or diving board, those will inspected as well.
Pool Equipment and Electrical Components
All of the pool’s equipment will be inspected, including the pumps, filters, timers, system board, heaters, valves, and lights. Our certified inspectors will check the pump and filters to make sure they are clean, free from rust or deterioration and running efficiently, that the plumbing is up-to-code and does not have any broken or leaking pipes, determine whether the conduits and lights have the proper breakers and are code-compliant.
