FAQ

  • How long will the testing take?

In most cases, a complete leak detection typically lasts 1-3 hours depending on how much plumbing there is to test and how many leaks you have.

  • Does anyone need to be home during the appointment?

No. Please notify us ahead of time if there are any gate codes or access instructions. We will need a working electrical outlet and access to the breaker box. All animals need to be inside or secured from the pool area. If no one is available upon completion of the leak detection, we will report our findings to you in the most convenient way possible. Please inquire about payment options if you do not plan to be home.

  • Does the initial fee include any repairs?

No the quoted fee is for leak detection only.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

Payment is due at the time services are rendered. We accept cash, checks, and payment apps (Zelle, Venmo, Cash App). Our technicians take payment on-site. If you do not plan to be home, a payment must be made upfront on the morning of your appointment to keep your appointment.

  • Do your leak detections and repairs have a warranty?

Yes. All of our services have a warranty. The warranty length will be detailed on your invoice receipt.

  • I’m not sure if I have a leak. Is there a cost if you don’t find a leak?

Yes. Please do a Bucket Test (instructions here) to make sure you have a leak before we set up an appointment.

  • What other services do you offer?

Our services include pool/spa leak detection, pool inspections, and repairs.

  • Why do I need to fill the pool up to the middle of the skimmer for appointment?

The pool must be filled to the middle of the skimmer so that our electronic equipment can detect active structural leakage when we are on site. If the water level is too low, dye testing in certain areas will be impossible and our electronic equipment may not be effective in finding your leak(s).

  • I have a vinyl liner pool that leaks. What can you test and repair?

We can test and repair the plumbing as with any other type of pool. If your liner is old and deteriorating, we recommend replacing it. If it is still in good shape, we can patch it with no guarantee.

  • Do you locate other leaks (home, irrigation, ponds, etc.)?

No, we are strictly a pool service company.

  • I had a different company come out and do a leak detection. Can you do the repairs for the leak they located?

In our experience with these situations, many leaks were not accurately detected. It is best for both parties if we perform another inspection, which saves you time and money in the long run.

  • Do you service above ground pools and spas?

No. We only service in-ground pools and spas.
